GROW Logo 9Grow International exists to help women and children become self-sufficient individuals via agriculture/ aquaculture, education, technology, peer related community and cross – cultural support. We work to develop culturally sensitive approaches to preparing girls for the world, including effective strategies for increasing literacy, improving farming techniques, promoting savings and entrepreneurship, encouraging the adoption of new technologies, and improving health awareness.

We support the holistic health, education, technical and financial literacy of economically under privileged women in Africa who farm for subsistence and economically underprivileged women in America, who may not have access to healthy foods. While we expect our primary work will be targeted to markets across the African continent, we also have special programs designed for work within inner-city areas in the United States to promote; gardening, nutrition, and healthy living.

Food and water shortages are two of the most critical issues on the African continent. Education and technical support for women farmers is paramount to mitigating a portion of these shortages. Teaching farming extensions, water safety and management, plus creating a system of connectedness among peers is necessary for reaching holistic community prosperity.

We have developed a series of real time and virtual health, literacy, and entrepreneurial
education and training modules; providing integrated global strategies in strategy and skilled technology that prepare and position participants to identify and avail life enriching opportunities.

GROW International distinguishes its purposes and methodologies from existing non-profit organizations by simultaneously employing a smorgasbord of Technical Training, Information Technology, Social Media, and Interpersonal Peer Exchanges to promote quality outcomes in agricultural/aqua-cultural extensions, micro-commerce, and networking which are efficient and effective. Through at- site trainings as well as global technological exchanges, we support participant self-sufficiency by building literacy in health, education, advocacy, and entrepreneurship.
